Ingredients

Direction of use/Preparation

Adults and children 10 years of age and over: 1 to 2 tablets in a single daily dose Children 4 to under 10 years of age: 1 tablet in a single daily dose Children under 4 years of age: Ask a doctor

Contraindication

DULCOLAX is contraindicated in patients with ileus, intestinal obstruction, acute abdominal conditions including appendicitis, acute inflammatory bowel diseases, and severe abdominal pain associated with nausea and vomiting which may be indicative of severe conditions. DULCOLAX is also contraindicated in severe dehydration and in patients with known hypersensitivity to bisacodyl or any other component of the product.

Caution

DULCOLAX should not be used on a continuous daily basis or for extended periods/more than five days without investigating the cause of constipation. Prolonged excessive use may lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalance and hypokalaemia. DULCOLAX should be taken during pregnancy only on medical advice. DULCOLAX can be used during breast-feeding.
