Directions of Use/Preparation :

- Nail polish or henna should not be applied to your finger before using this device.

- Check to make sure that your hands are at a comfortable temperature. If necessary, apply a layer of film to warm them up.

- The pulse oximeter should be placed on only after you have taken a few deep breaths.

- The pulse oximeter should be placed on your index or middle finger.

- Reduce hand movement by placing your hand on the chest just below your heart.

- Make sure to leave the pulse oximeter on your finger for at least a minute to allow the reading to stabilize.

- Record the oximeter's highest reading once it has stabilized for five seconds.
